BEHIND THE LENS

 

When my grandmother passed away in January of 2013, I decided to start using her canon ae1 camera regularly as a way to keep her present in my life. I love bringing different eras to life again by using black and white film or double exposing juxtaposing images. I enjoy the surprise and the spontaneity of film, there is always an element of excitement when I am waiting to see how the roll develops.
